Another experience of lockdown

For me lockdown came earlier than for most as I was fortunate to have people who were in a position to see and appreciate the devastating power of covid 19 This was fine by me as I am a very homely character and being asked to stay indoors did not bother me in the least Being in lockdown for me was most humbling and it gave me time to reflect and to see things in different perspectives to appreciate what I have not necessary material things and to be grateful for family and friends who have all been a good support network .

I had time to tidy the house wardrobes cupboards bedrooms andI realised that most of the stuff around were none essential I tried writing a couple of poems when I had the inspiration I had always wanted to read the bible in a year and I thought what better time to start and I must say it’s going very well . I was able to see my children and grandchildren albeit through the window and very grateful for that because some families live so far apart it is impossible for them.I have not been greedy and have not eaten too much so I have not put on weight .All in all the covid experience has been an eye opener and though I sympathise with people who have lost loved ones I am grateful for Gods grace and mercy for protecting us
